My Approach:
I am passionate about helping individuals (ages 5 and up) navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be yourself. Together we will create a space founded in trust, collaboration, and empathy to make lasting progress on your goals, process past experiences, untangle doubts, or just have a space to talk.
My approach is deeply informed by a wide range of clinical experiences. I’ve supported patients and families through hospice care in hospital settings, guided young people navigating major transitions in schools and higher education, and ran Outward Bound programs in the great outdoors. This diverse background allows me to bring flexibility, creativity, and perspective into our sessions. I adapt my approach to meet each client where they are, drawing from modalities such as ACT, CBT, EMDR, Expressive Arts, Play Therapies, and Nature-Informed Therapy.
When I am not in the office, I spend a lot of time by water, cooking & baking, and consoling my very spoiled cat for his life's many hardships (like getting breakfast two minutes late).
